POHUTUKAWA FUN DAY

On Thursday Pohutukawa Syndicate had a great time at our Syndicate Fun day...
3-legged races

TUG OF WAR TIME
Room 11 was the strongest class...

The girls did very well against the boys... 

...BUT they did have Sophie on their team!

In the afternoon it was time for a pool party...
And ice blocks to finish a great day!

CHRISTMAS TREES AT THE CATHEDRAL

On Friday our buddy class took us to the Cathedral to see the awesome Christmas tree festival. There were so many amazing trees it was hard to pick our favourite!



POHUTUKAWA CHRISTMAS ACTIVITIES

This week Pohutukawa Syndicate are taking part in Christmas activities. We have mixed up the classes and will do a different activity in each room.
Whaea Robyn is helping us make some Christmas lanterns and Whaea Sophie is showing us how to make fun Christmas tree pictures using our handprints. Whaea Helen is setting us a technology challenge - to make a freestanding (and decorated) Christmas tree from 20 sheets of newspaper, a piece of tinfoil and red paper, and some cellotape.

In Discovery Time we have been learning to sew. We have made some very creative things.
